Ana Cruz (Akasha Devi)
Ana Cruz (Akasha Devi) is a certified yoga instructor through Yoga Alliance. She received her teacher certification at Thrive Yoga, Rockville, MD. Ana was introduced at a young age to the practice of yoga from experienced sannyasins from the Satyananda yoga tradition who deeply enriched her knowledge of the principles of yoga.
Through balanced integration of asana, pranayama and meditation, Ana’s mission is to provide students of all levels with ways to learn the classical teachings of yoga in combination with evolving yoga practices backed by modern science. She adapts her classes based on the level of the students, breaking down asanas and breathing techniques and creating a safe and fun space for her students.
